9.00 AM

This is my time to get work done! Including:

  • Create briefings for Jacinta in digital content, content and social teams
  • Build out content for email newsletters
  • Update reporting
  • Special projects
  • Anything else that comes my way

My job varies so widely from day to day that this time for quiet work is really valuable to sort out my priorities and work on projects.

10.30 AM

Team meeting: We all share our top priorities for the week, discuss big tasks and collaborate where possible. For example, we are launching a new major partnership with an international eyewear company. I will discuss my progress and reach out if I need support.

Coffee break at Streat: I will try to catch up with a fellow grad, or a colleague.

12.00 PM

We have a meeting with internal partners to discuss potential Member offers. For example, the home team has made a great offer for Members, which we will include in our newsletter. We will discuss the goals of both teams to ensure our collaboration is mutually beneficial.

1.00 PM - Lunch time!

We head together as a team to get lunch at one of the many places to choose from around the office. One of my favourites is a crackling Pork Bahn Mi at Little Brother.

2.00 PM

A one-on-one meeting with my manager to discuss our priorities and progress.

2.30 PM

Catch up with Jacinta to discuss my briefing for upcoming content.

3.00 PM

More time to work, and to action anything from the meetings. Currently I am working on a presentation of my findings and recommendations based on my reporting.

Here I am showing Tom a very real and accurate chart. Tom is very impressed with the thorough analysis I undertook.

5.00 PM

If it’s a Wednesday, I’ll usually head down for a pint at Bourke Street Green with my team. (Always handy to work in an organisation that owns a bar). If not, I’ll head home and make dinner.

7.00 PM

If it is a Tuesday or a Thursday, I drive to volleyball training. I play VVL in Premier Men’s Division 2.
